The Largo Community Center was designed to symbolize the city’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Conner’s design implemented this goal through native plant restoration and storm water collection and management.

The Largo Community Center was designed to symbolize the city’s commitment to environmental sustainability. The completed project is an extensive native plant restoration that integrates storm water collection and management. A key feature of the project is the integration of rainwater harvesting from building roofs and parking areas into water demonstration areas and bioswales. The design also provides for opportunities for visitors to engage in outdoor games, artwork, gardening, community performances and private gatherings and weddings. The lush grounds are both inviting and appealing to visitors of all ages.
